Hullo - Newbie here!

Hi.... just wanted to say hello and introduce myself.

I'm BoroughGal from Sheffield,and have just sent off my first letter to the Yorkshire Bank - and had the standard letter back saying they will send me my statements.

I've been trawling through trying to find sucess strories about the Yorkshire Bank, but eveyone only seems to tell you about the first couple of stages!

Anyway, feeling good about things, I've not used the account now for around 6 months - so they haven't the leverage of trying to close my account or anything.

I'm just wondering about whether I should add the 8% I hear about, but will read through all the FAQ's to answer that.

Thanks for providing an excellent service, and I will no doubt keep coming back to update you and ask for advice on any questions I have.

Firstly it is worth looking at the section called -> Faq's (http://www.penaltychargesforum.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=199)

You can create a new thread in the relevant section in the forum for your bank called <You> v <bank>. Keeping this up to date will help us to advise you along the way.

You will find that other members will also contribute to your thread with their own experiences.

If you have any questions, no matter how silly you may think they are, please ask.
